A Permanent Foundation for Shared Society

Six years ago, The Fohs Foundation made a $10 million founding gift to establish The Abraham Initiatives Endowment Fund, a permanent vehicle for the work of building an Israel where Jews and Arabs can live as equal citizens. Today, the commitment to the endowment stands at more than $16 million: approximately $12.5 million in assets, with an additional $3.5 million pledged from ten individuals and family foundations.

An endowment does something no annual gift alone can do. It compounds. It signals permanence. It tells our partners on the ground in Israel that this commitment will outlast any single crisis or political moment — that the resources to do this work will be there not just this year, but for the generations that follow.
