Political Participation and Partnership
At The Abraham Initiatives, we have been working for over 20 years to increase Arab voter turnout in Israeli's national elections. We believe that participation in parliamentary politics and inclusion in the Knesset—and even in government—is essential for true partnership and equality between Jews and Arabs. Our 2025 survey (see below) found that the overwhelming majority of Arab society in Israel is seeking this partnership in the next elections. Promoting the civic engagement of all citizens, Jewish and Palestinian, not only protects the democratic ideals laid out in Israel's Declaration of Independence, but opens pathways to broader peace-building efforts.
