Policy
Building a shared society in Israel requires significant policy change. The Abraham Initiatives presents recommendations to law-makers and senior bureaucrats on issues of key importance to improving Jewish-Arab relations and the status and visibility of Israel's Arab citizens. We've successfully advanced policy change promoting equal representation of Arabs in Israel's public service, Arab women's employment, community-based policing, and our education for a shared society programs. The Abraham Initiatives also works to counter anti-democratic legislation and oppose policies that discriminate against Arab society in Israel.
