Since the beginning of 2021, 990 Arab citizens have lost their lives as a result of violence and crime, including 750 since the current government took office. The year 2025 ended with a tragic record high: 252 fatalities, alongside thousands of injured and permanently disabled victims.

The epidemic of violence and crime is tearing apart the Israeli social fabric and constitutes a major barrier to the economic and social development of Arab society. It produces widespread bereavement, disability, and poverty, and affects every family and community. This is a strategic threat to Israeli society as a whole. After years of neglect and state failure, now compounded by a direct assault on Arab society by ministers entrusted with its advancement and welfare, the time has come for systemic, inclusive, and effective governmental action to address this phenomenon.
